CPWC Day 35 - Exploration & the Scientific Revolution

Objective:  Examine the cultural, social, and political changes brought about by the Italian Renaissance and the Scientific Revolution.

Task:  Gutten morgen!  When you arrive to class pick up the Italian city-states map from the podium and 5 colored pencils.  We'll spend the first few minutes of class coloring Naples, Venice, Florence, Milan, and the Papal States.  Then, we'll split into groups to work through stations on Machiavelli, the Columbian Exchange, the Scientific Revolution, and personalities of the Scientific Revolution.   Finally, we'll finish class with a review of the early modern period in European history.
