CPWC Day 28 - Map Quiz & Historical Developments

Objective:  Assess knowledge and understanding of the geography of North Africa, Southwest Asia, Transcaucasia, & Central Asia.  Describe the religious, political, and economic significance of the Hajj.  Describe the significance of select historic events in Southwest Asia and North Africa.

Task:   Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please get out your map and study for the first few minutes of class.  After everyone has cleared their desks, you'll get your map quiz.  Take your time and do your best!  When you finish the quiz, please turn it in at the back of the room.  Work on your study guide while your classmates finish the quiz.

Next, we'll watch the last few minutes of "Inside Mecca" and finish the study guide.  Finally, we'll devote the last portion of class to notes on the history of the region.

*NOTE - All unit 3 homework (listed below) MUST be completed by TOMORROW for credit!
