HWC Day 69 - Spice Trade & Cambodia

Objective:  Locate and identify key locations on the map of Southeast Asia, Australia, and Oceania.  Summarize the impact of imperialism on the people of Southeast Asia.

Task:  As you arrive to class, please get out your note cards and your note card rubric.  As I collect these materials you'll form a circle to discuss the global impact of the spice trade.  Then, we'll jump ahead to the 20th century and review the Cambodia vocabulary.  Finally, we'll end class with a segment of The Killing Fields.
