Research Project - Reminders and Suggestions:
  1. You're paper will be divided into 3 distinct sections: geo-political & socio-historic context, survey  & of recent news coverage, and a recommendation for international action (or inaction).  However, all three of these sections should be unified by a single, central thesis.
  2. Make sure you have background sources on the history, geography, and social aspects of your issue.  Also, it will be helpful to have some sources that discuss your chosen topic in the global context.
  3. You may complete note cards either on 3x5 index cards OR in NoodleTools.  ALL notes should provide appropriate citation information, indication of paraphrasing, summarizing, or quoting, and topic/sub-topic.
  4. Refer to the rubrics for your thesis statement and your note cards!
