HWC1.2 Day 12 - Building Digital Literacy & Ning

Objective:  Investigate the ways that individuals can interact through digital technology to identify appropriate behavior for the global collaborative project.

Task:  At the beginning of class, please make sure your name is on your Africa map and turn it in on the side table.  Then, we'll watch "Amerika" and discuss globalization.  

Next, I'll introduce you to the Flat Classroom Project Ning and you will join the FCP community.  Over the next several days you'll need to personalize your page and introduce yourself to the FCP community (see directions below homework reminders).

The remainder of class will be spent working through the following stations:
  1. Station #1 - Digital Footprint
  2. Station #2 - Copyright & Creative Commons
  3. Station #3 - Netiquette
After you have completed ALL station activities, go to the Moodle and respond to the digital literacy forum on the Moodle.
