Objectives: Identify and utilize library resources and Web2.0 resources that will be useful for Western Civilization.
Task: We'll be meeting in the library today. As you arrive, I'll distribute a packet on Greece and the study guide for unit 1. Then, to begin class, Miss Ziemba will review the library catalogue, the databases (specifically EBSCO), and History Today. Next, I'll help you set up and show you how to utilize Diigo (http://www.diigo.com/), a social bookmarking tool, and our Western civ. Diigo group (http://groups.diigo.com/group/svhs-western-civ). Finally, you'll use the remainder of the class to work on the library hunt and your PDP's and PDC's for unit 1.
