West Civ Day 13 - Europe After the "Fall" of Rome

Objectives:  Consider the fall of the Roman Empire.  Define the social hierarchy of the Middle Ages.
Task: Salve! We'll begin class with a brief review of Roman civilization. Then, we'll divide into groups to describe the different social classes that existed during the Middle Ages. Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class reading "The Sword of Faith: Western Civilization During the Middle Ages" on pages 265-269 of Aspects, volume I.
