HWC Day 10 - Defining the Modern Era

Objectives:  Explore the difficulties and justifications for periodization in history.   Define historical periods utilized in HWC.  Consider "modern" and "nation" as social constructs.

Task:  Good afternoon!  When you arrive to class, please grab a whiteboard and explain "social construct."   Then, we'll continue our notes and finish our class in groups practicing our primary document analysis with the Yalta Conference.
