West Civ Day 12 - Comparing Greece & Rome

Objectives:  Consider the fall of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire as events that contributed to Western Civilization.  Compare the civilizations of Ancient Greece & Ancient Rome.
Task: Salve! Today, we'll continue our exploration of the Roman world. When you arrive, please open your "Ancient Rome Video Notes." We'll finish reviewing our notes from yesterday. Then, you'll work with a partner to compare Greece & Rome. Finally, you'll spend the last portion of class reading "The Sword of Faith: Western Civilization During the Middle Ages" on pages 265-269 of Aspects, volume I.

Homework:
  • TODAY - Bring Aspects text to class
  • Wednesday, February 8 - Read "The Sword of Faith: Western Civilization During the Middle Ages" on pages 265-269 of Aspects, volume I
