HWC Day 11 - The World Today

Objectives:  Explore the difficulties and justifications for periodization in history  Define historical periods utilized in HWC.  

Task:  Greetings!  When you arrive to class, please rejoin your document analysis group from Friday.  We'll begin class with a discussion on the process of analyzing primary documents and, more specifically, analyzing the Yalta Conference.  Then, we'll finish up our notes on historical periodization.  Finally, we'll end class in groups examining the contemporary world.


Homework:
  • TODAY - Imperialism discussion (complete Venn diagram and chart in preparation for our discussion)
