HWC Day 44 - China in Global Context

Objective: Identify central tenets of the religions and philosophies that have influenced East Asia.  Investigate the geo-political and cultural significance of select events in Chinese history.  Engage in or observe respectful intellectual discourse.

Task:  Happy Friday!  When you arrive to class, please get out a computer and open up the "Considering China" VoiceThread.  After you've taken notes on our abbreviated timeline, please identify themes and/or trends in China's history.  Finally, we'll end class with our fishbowl discussion on the Boxer Rebellion.
