HWC Day 18 - Imperialism in Africa

Objectives:  Identify and dispel misconceptions about Africa.  Assess knowledge of the geography of Africa.  Explore the course of imperialism in Sub-Saharan Africa

Task:  Happy Friday!  When you arrive to class, please clear your desks of everything except for a pen or pencil.  We'll spend the first portion of class on your map quiz.  When you've finished your quiz, please turn it in at the back of the room and work on upcoming HWC homework.  After everyone finishes the quiz, we'll review "The Scramble for Africa" and discuss the causes and consequences of imperialism in Africa.
