Objective: Label countries, cities, and bodies of water of Sub-Saharan Africa. Investigate ancient and medieval history of Sub-Saharan Africa.
Task: Good morning! When you arrive to class, please clear your desk and get out a pen or pencil in preparation for your map quiz. After you've finished the quiz, please turn the quiz in at the back of the room. Then, get out your i-Pad and complete part I of "Scramble for Africa." If you finish part I before everyone else has finished the quiz, work on your "Foundations Investigation" OR begin working on your study guide for the unit 2 test on Friday. After everyone has finished the quiz, you'll work with a partner to complete part II of the "Scramble for Africa." We'll review and discuss parts I & II before working through part III of "The Scramble for Africa" together.
