CPWC6-9 Day 61 - Sacred Cow & History of South Asia

REMINDER:  NHS food drive for the New Jerusalem Food Bank runs until December 20. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.

Objective:  Evaluate the geography of South Asia.  Analyze the religions of South Asia.

Task:  We'll start today's class with the "Holy Cow" activity.  Read through the article and answer the questions.  We'll listen to the radio story and watch the video clip together to finish the activity.  Finally, we'll finish class with notes on the history of South Asia.

Homework:
  • Wednesday, November 27 - Chapter 24 & Chapter 26 (sections 1 & 2 only) reading quiz (notes may be used on quiz)
  • Friday, December 6 - Kundun & Silk Road extra credit due
  • Monday, December 9 - Unit 6 test
