CPWC Day 48 - Religions, Philosophy, & History of China

Objective:  Examine the ideas and influence of indigenous and diffused religions and philosophies in East Asia.

Task:  Once you've finished recording the daily objective, please turn in your East Asia physical map to the front of the the classroom and get out some lined paper to take notes.  We'll spend the first part of class taking notes on the religions and philosophies of East Asia.  Then, you'll get out the computers to research select events in the history of China.




Homework:
  • Thursday, November 15 - "Roles of Women in China" due
  • Friday, November 16 - East Asia Map Quiz
  • Friday, November 16 - Silk Road directed research due
  • Friday, November 16 - Field trip permission slip due
  • Monday, November 19 (pds. 3-4) - Chapter 28 reading quiz (reading notes may be used on quiz)
  • Tuesday, November 20 (pds. 6-9) - Chapter 28 reading quiz (reading notes may be used on quiz)
  • Tuesday, November 27 - "Top Ten Things to Know About Korea" reading due
  • Wednesday, November 28 - Field trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC
  • Thursday, November 29 - Chapter 29 reading quiz (reading notes may be used on quiz)
  • Monday, December 3 - Unit 5 Test
