CPWC Day 47 - Religions of East Asia

Objective:  Examine the ideas and influence of indigenous and diffused religions in East Asia.

Task:  After you've recorded the daily objective, please clear your desks of everything except a pencil and your chapter 27 reading notes.  We'll begin class with the chapter 27 reading quiz.  When you have finished the quiz, please turn it in to the front of the room and begin reading and taking notes on chapter 28.  After everyone has finished the quiz, we'll listen to the Chen interview and record our answers to the Moodle.  Finally, we'll spend the remainder of class taking notes on the religions of East Asia.

Homework:

  • Tuesday, November 13 - PLAN testing (no class for pd. 3-4)
  • Wednesday, November 14 - East Asia physical map due
  • Thursday, November 15 - "Women's Roles in China" Moodle responses & notes due
  • Friday, November 16 - East Asia Map Quiz

  • Friday, November 16 - Field Trip permission slip due
  • Monday, November 19 (pds. 3-4) - Chapter 28 reading quiz (reading notes may be used on quiz)
  • Tuesday, November 20 (pds. 6-9) - Chapter 28 reading quiz (reading notes may be used on quiz)
  • Tuesday, November 27 - "Top Ten Things to Know About Korea" reading due
  • Wednesday, November 28 - Field trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC
  • Thursday, November 29 - Chapter 29 reading quiz (reading notes may be used on quiz)
  • Monday, December 3 - Unit 5 Test
