CPWC Day 35 - Protestant Reformation

Objective:   Label the political and physical features of Europe.  Evaluate the social, cultural, and political changes of Europe between 1400 and 1750.

Task:  When you arrive to class, please pick up "The Importance of Movable Type" from the front cart.  Please complete the worksheet while I check your homework.  After reviewing the significance of the printing press and the stations activities from yesterday, we'll play a game to review the map of Europe.  Finally, we'll begin our examination of the Protestant Reformation with lecture notes.

Homework:
  • TODAY - Chapter 14, Section 1 reading notes due in class
  • Friday, October 17 - Chapter 14, Section 2 reading notes
  • Monday, October 20 - Chapter 14, Section 3 reading notes due in class
  • Tuesday, October 21 - Chapter 12 & 14 reading quiz (notes may be used)
  • Wednesday, October 22 - Unit 3 Map Quiz
  • Friday, October 24 - Unit 3 Test
  • Tuesday, October 28 - Mid-Term Exam
  • Wednesday, October 29 - Quarter 1 Extra Credit due by 3:00 (see below)

Use one or more of the news sources below to find recent news articles relating to topics we've studied in quarter 1.  Create citations and annotations in NoodleTools.  The annotation MUST include a summary AND an explanation of how the article relates to our studies.  Share your work with the "CPWC Quarter 1 Extra Credit" dropbox.
Each citation/annotation is worth up to 5 points and you may complete up to 3 per unit (Foundations, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East, Europe).
