Objective: Assess knowledge and understanding of North Africa, Southwest Asia, and Central Asia map. Describe the significance of select historical events in Southwest Asia and North Africa.
Task: When you arrive to class, please clear your desks of everything except for a pen or pencil. You'll spend the first portion of class completing your unit 3 map quiz. After you've finished the quiz, please turn it in at the back of the room and pick up "Symbolizing Roles: Behind the Veil." Read the article while you wait for your classmates to finish the quiz. We'll spend the last portion of class taking notes the history of North Africa and Southwest Asia.
