Objective: Examine select historical developments in Japan. Identify the religious and philosophical traditions that influenced Japan.
Task: Good morning! When you arrive to class, please grab a whiteboard and write down everything you know about Japan. Feel free to include any questions that you have about Japan. Then we'll take a few minutes to examine Shintoism before delving into the history of Japan.
