Objective: Analyze the causes and consequences of Partition. Evaluate the significance of Kashmir, the Green Revolution, and the Taliban. Consider the contemporary impact of caste in India.
Task: We have A LOT to do today! First, we'll review remainder of the regional study. Specifically, we'll look at the caste system and untouchability in India. Then, we'll consider Kashmir and the Green Revolution. Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class considering the Taliban.
