HWC Day 34 - Unit 3 Wrap-Up

IMPORTANT:  Beginning THIS WEEK, high school students are not permitted to ride the elementary school busses home.  Busses will be available at 4:00 for those students who need to stay for period 12.

Any student NOT taking the PSAT's tomorrow should report to the cafeteria for a study hall during pd. 1-2.

Purpose:  Evaluate contemporary issues in the Middle East, Central Asia & Transcaucasia.

Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please pick up a white board.  We'll begin class with a short activity to review the region.  Then, we'll review contemporary issues in North Africa, Southwest Asia, & Central Asia.  We'll also consider the terminology used in the discussions about terrorism.  Finally, if any time remains, we'll review for Thursday's test.
