CPWC Day 35 - Introduction to Europe

IMPORTANT:  Beginning THIS WEEK, high school students are not permitted to ride the elementary school busses home.  Busses will be available at 4:00 for those students who need to stay for period 12.


Pd. 3-4 CPWC - Report to room 411 for class TODAY.

Objective: Define "Europe" as a cultural region.  Investigate the ancient and medieval heritage of modern Europe.  Examine the birth of the Renaissance in Florence.

Task: Good morning!   When you arrive to class, please upload your homework to the appropriate dropbox in Schoology.  Then, download and complete "Ancient Times & Feudalism." After we review this document, you'll find a partner to work on "Heritage of Europe."  Finally, you'll spend the last portion of class completing a close reading on the Renaissance in Florence, "Why Renaissance? Why Florence?"
