HWC Day 71 - Southeast Asia, Australia, & Oceania Wrap-Up

Objectives:   Review essential concepts on the history, geography, culture, and contemporary issues of Southeast Asia, Australia, & Oceania.

Task:  Happy New Year!  When you arrive to class, please complete "Fact or Opinion - Commonwealth of Nations."  After we discuss the Commonwealth, you'll read "Australia's 'History Wars' Heat Up Again" (al-Jazeera, 3/29/2015) and we'll discuss the article and review concepts such as ethnocentrism, historiography, and Orientalism.  Finally, we'll finish unit 7 with some summary notes.
