CPWC Day 8 - Defining Culture (Part II)

UPDATE:  Due to the two hour delay, we continued notes on the elements of culture and collected "Why Are Maps Important?"  Also, I spent a few minutes demonstrating the process for replying to the Moodle forum.

Objective:  Establish a basis for studying culture by defining the seven elements of culture.  Demonstrate two ways that culture is integrated.

Task:  Good morning!  We'll start today's class with a brief demonstration on the process for responding to a Moodle forum.   Then, we'll collect "Why Are Maps Important?" and finish your notes on the seven elements of culture.  You'll split into small groups to investigate types of government, religion, & economics.  We'll also spend some time on an activity to demonstrate the integration of culture.  Finally, we'll end class with discussion about the influence of elements the various elements in our daily lives.
