CPWC Day 40 - Mid-Term Exam

Objective:   Assess knowledge and understanding of quarter 3 essential content.

Task:  When you arrive to class, please pick up the map from the podium.  Then,  clear your desks and get out a pencil in preparation for your mid-term exam.  I'll distribute and explain your exam and you'll have the duration of class to complete the assessment.  If you finish early, please begin your unit 5 homework.

• Wednesday, April 2 - Chapter 27, section 1 reading notes due
• Tuesday, April 7 - Chapter 27, section 3 reading notes due
• Wednesday, April 8 - East Asia Map due in class (homework completion quiz)
• Wednesday, April 8 - Current Events Extra Credit due in NoodleTools by 3:00 pm (see below)
• Thursday, April 9 - Chapter 28, section 2 reading notes due
• Friday, April 10 - Chapter 29, section 1 reading notes due
• Monday, April 13 - Chapter 29, section 2 reading notes due
• Tuesday, April 14 - Unit 5 reading quiz (27.1, 27.3, 28.2, 29.1, & 29.2 - reading notes may be used)
• Thursday, April 15 - Unit 5 Test
• Friday, April 24 - Field Trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage, NYC

Use one or more of the news sources below to find recent news articles relating to topics we've studied in quarter 1.  Create citations and annotations in NoodleTools.  The annotation MUST include a summary AND an explanation of how the article relates to our studies.  Share your work with the "CPWC Quarter 3 Extra Credit" dropbox.
