WestCiv Day 3 - Considering Rome

Objectives:  Identify the contributions of Rome to Western Civilization.  Compare and contrast the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire.

Task:  Today, we'll finally begin to delve into the history of the "West."  You'll spend the first portion of class watching videos and taking notes on Rome.  Then, please go into GoogleDrive and read and take notes on the first 6 pages of "Origins of West Notes" (up to and including "Bronze Age").  Tomorrow, we'll begin on page 7 of the notes - "The Lyric Age."   Finally, use the remainder of class to work on "Understanding the Library" and/or PDP #1.
