Objectives:  Explain how the role of the artist in society changed as the ideas of the Renaissance gained prominence.

Task: The artistic achievements of the Italian Renaissance are arguably the most visible and well-known aspects of the period.  Today, we'll watch a video and discuss (via live, moderated blog) the impact of art on Renaissance society.
