HWC Day 33 - Imperialism, Nationalism, & Independence in the Middle East

Objectives:   Establish a timeline of significant events in the history of Southwest Asia.  Investigate the causes, course, and lasting impact of the Armenian genocide.

Task:  Marhabaan! We'll begin class with the conclusion of "The Armenian Genocide" and a brief discussion. Then, we'll divide into groups to review your homework and continue our notes on the history of the region. Finally, you'll delve into the controversy surrounding Israel, the Palestinian territories, and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
