CPWC Day 29 - Sunni-Shia Islam

Objectives:  Examine the emergence of monotheism in Southwest Asia.  Define the similarities and differences between Sunni and Shia Islam.

Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please upload your homework to the appropriate drop boxes in Schoology.   Then, work on the "DBQ - Islamic Civilization."  We'll spend the first portion of class examining the contributions of Islamic civilization.  Then, you'll complete a directed research activity on Sunni & Shia Islam.  Finally, we'll take notes on the historical expansion of Islam.
