Objectives:   Establish a timeline of significant events in the history of Southwest Asia.  Consider the role of orientalism in the historiography of the region.

Task:  Marhabaan! When you arrive to class, please work on "The Success & Fall of the Ottoman Empire." After you've finished the activity, use your notes & "West Comes East" to analyze the Ottoman Empire cartoons.
