CPWC Day 39 - Advances in Science, Exploration, & Politics

EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY:  You can earn extra credit for attending and participating the "Great Decisions" discussion series.  Please see the email I sent last week for details.  If you would like to come to any of the discussions, please let me know so that I can add you to the Schoology group.

IMPORTANT:  We are rapidly approaching the end of the quarter.  All missing work MUST be completed by Tuesday, April 5 - any work not completed at this time will become a ZERO.

Objective: Investigate developments that led to the emergence of modern Europe.  Identify similarities and differences between the Italian Renaissance and the Northern Renaissance (Protestant Reformation).

Task:  Welcome back!  When you arrive to class, please upload your homework to the appropriate Schoology dropbox and download "Europe Geography Jigsaw" from the Europe Geography Resources folder.  We'll spend the first portion of class reviewing your Europe map.  Then, we'll continue our investigation of early modern Europe with a guided research activity "Considering the Scientific Revolution & Columbian Exchange."  Finally, I'll use the last few minutes of class to explain your mid-term exam and the study guide.
