HWC Day 72 - Southeast Asia, Australia, & Oceania Wrap-up

Objective:  Summarize the impact of imperialism on the people of Southeast Asia, Australia, & Oceania.

Task:  Today you'll finish your examination of Southeast Asia, Australia, and Oceania.  You will have the entire class to complete the following tasks:

• Genocide in Cambodia (on the Moodle) - answer the questions in your notes and post a comment to ONE of the Cambodia reflections posts on the HWC Fall 2013 blog
• Internet Journey Through Oceania (on the Moodle) - answer questions in your notes
• Read "Adaptive Failure: Easter's End" by Jared Diamond - answer questions in your notes
• Comment to your assigned thesis statements on the HWC Fall 2013 blog

We'll be going to the library during period 1 on Thursday, January 2 and Friday, January 3.  Although you'll have this time to work on your source list, it might be helpful to begin gathering sources for research over the break.
