CPWC Day 64 - Contemporary Issues in South Asia

REMINDER:  NHS food drive for the New Jerusalem Food Bank runs until December 20. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.

Objective:  Explore the history of South Asia.  Analyze the influence of non-violent civil disobedience and Gandhi.

Task:  To start, we'll finish our discussion on Gandhi and our history notes.  Then, you'll complete a history review worksheet.   Next, we'll discuss the Green Revolution and watch "Seeds of Suicide."  Finally, we'll use the remainder of class to work on the South Asia Regional Study.

  • Thursday, December 5 - South Asia: Regional Issues, Global Concerns (parts A, B, C) due 
  • Friday, December 6 - South Asia: Regional Issues, Global Concerns (parts D, E) due

  • Monday, December 9 - Unit 6 Test
  • Thursday, December 19 - Gandhi extra credit due
  • January 16 & 17 - Semester 1 Final Exams
