Out of the 142 submitted videos, 13 students from Saucon Valley were recognized for excellence.
- In topic #1, "Connecting the World On-Line," Jake earned second place for his video, "All Online: CWO Innovation, Invention, & Prediction."
- In topic #3, "How Workflow Software Can Enhance Productivity & Communication," Angela earned third place for her video, "FCP Video," and Kyle earned first place for his video, "Innovations to a World Flattener: The Cloud."
- In topic #4, "The Changing Shape of Information," Sarah earned second place for her video, "The AIL and the Changing Shape of Information."
- In topic #5, "Web2.0 Tools for Sharing Information," Danielle earned second place for her video, "Video Games: How We Play."
- Saucon Valley swept the category in topic #6, "Globalization & Outsourcing," Annika earned third place for her video, "Globalization and Play: On the Correlation Between," Lara's video, "Acting With Empathy in Bangalore," tied for second place with Kenny's video, "Outsourcing: A Dynamic Force with Deep Roots," and Morgan earned first place for her video, "Globalization and Outsourcing Overview."
- In topic #9, "Mobile & Ubiquitous," Taylor earned third place for her video, "Geocaching, The Hunt."
- In topic #10, "Virtual Communication," Adam earned third place for his video, "The Story of Skype," and Zach earned first place for his video, "Virtual Communication Innovation: Creating Tangible Data."
- In topic #11, "Wireless Connectivity," Haylee earned first place for her video, "Wireless Connectivity in the Years."
After judges chose winners in each topic, a meta-judge evaluated the first and second place winners from each category. This judge then selected the overall project winners.
I'm pleased to announce that the videos by Zach & Kyle tied for second place out of all videos submitted! The overall winner for the project was "Importance of WWW" by KateM_AAHS.
