Objective:   Summarize the impact of imperialism on the people of Southeast Asia.  Examine genocide and totalitarianism in Southeast Asia.

Task:  Today we're going to focus on two instances of totalitarianism in Southeast Asia.  First, we'll examine the genocide in Cambodia in the 1970s.  Then, we'll discuss the military junta that controls Myanmar and hopes for democracy in this country.
