Objectives: Identify and label countries, cities, bodies of water, and geographic features of South Asia
Task: After you've recorded the daily objective, please clear your desks of everything except for a highlighter and/or pen/pencil. We'll begin class by reading a brief overview about South Asia. Then, you'll participate in a demonstration to examine the relationship between land area, arable land, and population density. Next, we'll watch a brief video clip introducing South Asia. Finally, you'll read an excerpt and answer questions about the Himalayas.
