Day 2 - PAW 2
Objectives: Identify the methods used by gunpowder rulers to legitimize their rule. Review mid-term SAQs and DBQs to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Task: Greetings! When you arrive to class, please get out and work on "Gunpowder Rulers" (from yesterday). We'll spend the first portion of class examining these documents to compare and contrast the rule of Suleyman, Akbar, & Shah Abbas. Finally, we'll end the class with a review of your mid-term exam SAQs and DBQs.
Homework Due Dates:- Friday, January 25 - Read "Meanwhile in Europe" and listen to "Tides of History - The Renaissance" (both in folder 4). Be ready to discuss the characteristics of "modern Europe."
- Tuesday, January 30 - "Villains of All Nations" due in class
- Wednesday, January 31 - Period 4 (1450-1750) in-class LEQ
