Block 3 Objectives:  Analyze the impact of travelers and cities in the developments of the post-Classical era.

Block 3 Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, we're going to spend the first few minutes of class playing Quizlet live.  Then, we'll organize ourselves chronologically and review your work from the weekend.  Finally, we'll end class by answering our essential questions:

• How did cities in the post-Classical era demonstrate both continuity and change over time?
• What role did merchants, monks, and missionaries serve in the post-Classical era?

Block 4 Objectives:  Evaluate the ecological, cultural, social, economic, and political impact of the bubonic plague.

Block 4 Task:  Good afternoon!  When you arrive to class, please INDIVIDUALLY complete "Bubonic Plague" questions.  Then, you'll be assigned a primary document about the bubonic plague and answer the accompanying questions.  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class reviewing your work.
