Objectives: Examine the collapse of the apartheid regime in South Africa. Consider select socio-economic developments in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Task: Hujambo! To begin, we'll watch a segment of "A Force More Powerful" and examine non-violent resistance in the fight against apartheid. Then, we'll end our unit with an examination of select topics in contemporary Africa.
