Purpose: Demonstrate knowledge of the physical and cultural characteristics of Southeast Asia.

We'll spend the first few minutes of class reviewing your notes on colonialism & imperialism in Southeast Asia and the context for the genocide in Cambodia. Then, we'll watch select scenes from "The Killing Fields."
