CPWC Day 60 - Geography, Religion, & History of South Asia

To learn more about monsoons in contemporary India, go to "Effects of Monsoon Season on India" (Stratfor, 7/16/12)

Purpose:  Identify and label cities, bodies of water, and physical features of South Asia.  Define South Asia as a cultural region.  Describe essential characteristics of the Indic religions.

Pd. 3-4 Task: Good morning!  When you arrive to class, upload your homework to the appropriate dropbox in Schoology.  Next, open up your religions notes so we can finish our discussion on the Indic religions.  Finally, if there is any time remaining, we'll begin our examination the history of South Asia.

Pd. 6-9 Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, upload your homework to the appropriate dropbox in Schoology. Then, open up and complete "Investigating Monsoons" and "Earthquakes in India."  After a brief discussion on the geography of South Asia, we'll begin our exploration of the religions of India.
