CPWC Day 52 - Introducing Japan

Purpose:  Examine the influence and ideas of indigenous & diffused religious and philosophical traditions in East Asia.  Investigate the historical and cultural significance of select events in Japan's history.

Task: Kon'nichiwa!  When you arrive to class, please clear your desk of everything except a pencil and your index card in preparation for the reading quiz.  After you've finished the quiz, turn it in at the back of the room and watch the videos below.  We'll spend a few minutes debriefing the videos before a short game of Kahoot! Finally, we'll end class with notes on select events in Japan.

Homework:

• TODAY - Chapter 29, section 2 reading notes due in class
• Tuesday, November 15 - Unit 5 reading quiz (27.1, 27.3, 28.2, 29.1, 29.2 - two-sided, hand-written index card may be used)
• Friday, November 18 - Unit 5 Test
