HWC Day 57 - Partition

Objectives:  Evaluate the historical developments of South Asia.

Task:  Happy Friday!  Today, you'll spend the first portion of class completing a content comprehension check.  You may use your notebook but there should not be any talking or any exchange of information.  Also, you must hand in your work on or before 1:35.  You'll use the second half of class to develop your partition artifact.  Please refer to the rubric distributed in class and the email from Mrs. Friday yesterday.

Homework:
  • TODAY - Part B (Competing Nationalisms) of Regional Study due
  • TODAY - Historical question (see "Developing Historical Questions" on HWC Moodle) posted to class blog
  • Monday, May 4 - Part D (Caste Out) of Regional Study due
  • Tuesday, May 5 - Part A (Sri Lanka) of Regional Study due
  • Tuesday, May 5 - Partition artifact due by 3:00
  • Wednesday, May 6 - R&R current events sources (from at least 3 different, international news sources) annotated and ADDED to "HWC Spring 15 R&R" NoodleTools dropbox (Please begin each current events annotation with CE).
  • Friday, May 8 - Unit 6 Test
  • Monday, May 11 - Kundun Extra Credit submitted to Moodle by 3:00 pm
