Task: As you arrive to class, please get out your computer. I'll answer questions at the beginning of class before you begin the reading quiz. Then, you'll have 40 minutes to complete the reading comprehension quiz on Guns, Germs, and Steel. If you finish early, please work on your Primer activity.
After everyone has finished the quiz, we'll create a definition and process for critical thinking.
Finally, as we begin our first collaborative project, we'll take advantage of this opportunity to discuss the differences between collaboration, cooperation, and copying. Further, we'll spend some time discussing the ethics of learning.
