- ENV2 - Explain how environmental factors, disease, and technology affected patterns of human migration and settlement over time.
KC1.3.III. Culture played a significant role in unifying states through laws, language, literature, religion, myths, and monumental art.
- CUL2 - Explain how religions, belief systems, philosophies, and ideologies affected political, economic, and social developments over time.
- SB1 - Explain how different forms of governance have been constructed and maintained over time.
- SOC5 - Explain how social categories, status, roles, and practices have been maintained or challenged over time.
Objectives: Research and report on a core or foundational civilization using SPICE format.
Task: Happy Friday!!! When you arrive to class, please download "KC1.2.II - Patriarchy Comparison" from the KC1.2 folder. Find a partner who is NOT in your SPICE group and compare the Lerner article to the "Reverberations" entry in T&E. After a brief discussion, you'll use the remainder of class to work in your group on the SPICE project.
