Objectives: Examine the history of Sub-Saharan Africa. Discuss the agency of Africans and Europeans in the fate of Africa.
Task: Hujambo! When you arrive to class, please move the desks into a circle in preparation for a discussion. We'll begin with a quick review of the Scramble for Africa before moving into a Socratic seminar on Part A of the regional study.
