Task: Happy St. Patrick's Day! When you arrive to class, please pick up the hand-out on the podium. We'll begin class with a brief audio clip on the Sunni-Shia divide. Then, you'll get out your notes and we'll continue our notes on select historical developments in the region. Finally, after we finish notes, you'll get out a computer to work on the contemporary issues investigation. Use the links below to complete the directed research activity. If you finish early, please work on your study guide.
