HWC Day 29 - Independence & Nationalism in Southwest Asia

Objectives:  Describe the significance of select historical developments in North Africa, Southwest Asia, and Central Asia.  

Task:  Happy St. Patrick's Day!  When you arrive to class, please pick up a white board, a marker, and an eraser.  On the white board, respond to the following questions:

• What purpose does history serve?  Why is history taught in schools?

After a brief discussion, you'll get out your perspectives packet and some blank paper for taking notes.
