Task: When you arrive to class, please get out a computer and go to the BBC Religions page on Zoroastrianism. Use the links on this page to create notes on the central tenets, history, and influence of Zoroastrianism. Specifically, consider how this religion may have impacted the development of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. After a short debriefing session, we'll begin our exploration of the Ottoman Empire. Finally, we'll consider the Armenian genocide as both a symptom and result of Ottoman decline.
