HWC Day 34 - Protestant Reformation

Objectives:  Investigate the social, political, and economic characteristics of early modern Europe.

Task:  Guten tag!  Please find a partner - each pair needs a whiteboard, marker, & eraser.  We'll spend the first few minutes of class analyzing "The Moneylender & His Wife" for the new ideas of the Renaissance.  Then, we'll quickly review the significance of the Italian Renaissance as we transition to the Northern Renaissance.  We'll identify essential characteristics of the Protestant Reformation before we review the Age of Exploration (from GGS) and the Columbian Exchange.  Finally, you'll select individuals from the Age of Absolutism, the Scientific Revolution, and the Age of Reason to research tomorrow.
